'Sugar Marquise' rewrites the Rococo court dress as something you can actually dance in, all powdered-almond lace and a tiered tutu skirt that belongs at the ballet as much as the ballroom.

Two lace textures meet across the bodice, the finer one resting soft and close against the skin, while beneath it two tones of mesh layer up to warm the whole to a natural, nude-kissed glow. It's the kind of craft you only catch on closer inspection: rich, dimensional, and the reason 'Sugar Marquise' seems lit from within.

The corset does the real work. Fourteen bones run through the front, sides and back to sculpt and hold, so the shape stays put while you stay comfortable. The cups are the detail worth pausing on: a vintage winged form, lifted at the outer edge and rounded below, cut to a diamond neckline that bares a long swan neck and quietly smooths the side bust. Because that shape is so particular, we've extended and reinforced the boning around the cup edge, so the neckline holds its clean peak rather than dipping. Structured yet supportive, it sits smoothly against most shapes: no bra needed, just an opaque nude adhesive if you'd like one. A dainty French satin bow finishes the centre, soft against all that structure.

Then the skirt makes its entrance, and it's pure theatre. Tier upon tier of feather-light tulle and lace flounces, each edge cut in a different floral, froth into a full, cloud-soft bloom that swishes like something out of a storybook as you move. The drama is removable, too: leave the crinoline in for the full Marie-Antoinette moment, or unclip it for a softer, more everyday silhouette.

At the back, a same-tone satin cord laces up into that swoon-worthy open spine, adjustable to your exact fit and finished with gilded aiglets that catch the light.
