Bust
Place measuring tape at center of apex, wrapped relaxed around front and back of bust, for total circumference.
Natural Waist
Place measuring tape at narrowest point of waist, wrapped relaxed around front and back of waist, for total circumference.
Bicep
Place measuring tape 1" below armpit, wrapped relaxed around the muscle, front and back for total circumference.
High Hip
Place measuring tape 4" below natural waist, wrapped relaxed around the hips, front and back for total circumference.
Low Hip
Place measuring tape 8" below natural waist, wrapped relaxed around the hips, front and back for total circumference.
Inseam
Place measuring tape 1" below joint seam. Wrap measuring tape, relaxed around muscle front and back for total circumference.

Long Sunday lunches in country pubs, garden roses tumbling over old stone walls, the kind of afternoon that ends in a cream tea. ‘Sweetbriar Rose’ was designed for all of it, a vintage-romantic midi that distils English countryside dressing into one beautifully composed piece.
The bodice opens with a soft sweetheart neckline shaped by delicate seagull seams across the bust, a vintage construction detail that lifts and frames the chest in a placement print of blowsy roses and dusty-pink ribbon bows, arranged just-so like a still-life painting. The clever moment is what happens at the centre: a sage-striped panel runs vertically through the front bodice and tapers into a V at the natural waist, drawing the eye in and out for a beautifully defined middle without a single boned seam in sight.
From there, the skirt sweeps into a generous full silhouette, scattered all over with a sweeter, smaller ditsy rose print: a lovely contrast in scale that keeps the whole dress feeling rich rather than busy. The tiered hem layers both worlds together, the larger placement roses and the sage ticking stripe, for a finish that flutters beautifully with every step. Olive velvet ribbon straps tie in soft bows at the shoulders (adjustable, naturally), and a hidden centre-back zip keeps the silhouette clean and uninterrupted.

• Use a steamer to get out creases in your item or simply iron inside-out on low heat, putting a cloth between the fabric and the iron.
