The shade is a pure, undertone-free white that throws its own soft-focus glow, leaving skin looking bright and clear.

Where the lace rises to meet the neck, a little high collar trimmed in delicate edging frames the throat, while a barely-there veil of skin keeps the whole thing quietly elegant rather than precious. Fine, even micro-pleating runs throughout, panelled with hand-finished lace at the neckline, shoulders and every tier of the skirt, its openwork motifs soft against the skin and never scratchy.
