‘Cherida’ is the kind of two-piece that turns a coastal afternoon into something you’ll photograph from every angle, all sun-warmed blue and hand-painted roses.
We start at the laced front, where the eyelets sit close together: just enough skin through the gaps to feel a little daring, while keeping things balanced and private. Those ties do real work too, letting you nudge the fit in or out for exactly the comfort you want. Scalloped petal lace traces the neckline and hem in a soft V, a curve that flatters the throat and collarbone while quietly drawing the eye along the waist.
Then comes the waistband, given over entirely to oversized roses. To keep each pink bloom whole and perfectly placed, we used positional printing rather than a repeating run, so the flowers fall exactly where they should: a painterly band of full roses that breaks up the ditsy floral and visually lengthens the leg, so the fitted shape lifts your line instead of cutting it short. The roses themselves are an original designer hand-drawing, rendered in blurred, oil-painting brushwork for that easy French-countryside softness. The ditsy print beneath is layered and recombined until the saturation settles into something harmonious: a soft, sun-warmed sky-blue reminiscent of forget-me-nots scattered across a summer meadow.
A gentle fishtail finishes the skirt, with petal lace at the waist and hem and a delicate mesh ribbon threaded at the waistline: understated enough for daytime, fluid enough to give you a soft curve when you turn. The fabric is soft and closely woven, with a fine texture you only notice up close, and a back zip keeps the line clean.
As a set, ‘Cherida’ is soft, sun-bright, and romantic to her core, made for warm days that ask for nothing but a good view.
• Dry cleaning is the best way to extend the life of your item.
• Hand wash in cold water, using a gentle detergent. Gently and slowly swish the garment then rinse with cold water. Remove excess water by rolling the garment in a towel and gently pressing to absorb lingering moisture. Ensure the garment keeps its shape by laying flat or hanging to dry.
• Use a steamer to get out creases in your item or simply iron inside-out on low heat, putting a cloth between the fabric and the iron.
