- Keep the tape level, not too tight or too loose.
- Measure over bare skin, not clothing.
How To Measure
Bust
Place measuring tape at center of apex, wrapped relaxed around front and back of bust, for total circumference.
Natural Waist
Place measuring tape at narrowest point of waist, wrapped relaxed around front and back of waist, for total circumference.
Bicep
Place measuring tape 1" below armpit, wrapped relaxed around the muscle, front and back for total circumference.
High Hip
Place measuring tape 4" below natural waist, wrapped relaxed around the hips, front and back for total circumference.
Low Hip
Place measuring tape 8" below natural waist, wrapped relaxed around the hips, front and back for total circumference.
Inseam
Place measuring tape 1" below joint seam. Wrap measuring tape, relaxed around muscle front and back for total circumference.

‘Papillon Letter’ is what happens when a love of butterflies, vintage lace, and downy soft knits ends up in one little bolero.
We spun her from a soft, brushed alpaca-effect yarn that carries all the cloud-light warmth of the real thing, plushy against the skin and gently cocooning without the weight. From cuff to hem it’s an intricate openwork knit, a fine vintage pointelle so detailed it reads as heirloom craft, the kind of piece that looks lovingly made rather than simply bought.
Then the moment it earns its name: a butterfly worked in raised guipure lace opens its wings at the front, ornate, sculptural, impossible to look away from. The front ties together with slender knots, while hand-crochet scalloping traces the placket for that worked-by-hand richness. Slightly flared cuffs flute out at the wrist, softening the line of the arm and adding a romantic, ballerina-sleeve sweep.

• Dry cleaning is the best way to extend the life of your item.
• Hand wash in cold water, using a gentle detergent. Gently and slowly swish the garment then rinse with cold water. Remove excess water by rolling the garment in a towel and gently pressing to absorb lingering moisture. Ensure the garment keeps its shape by laying flat or hanging to dry.
• Use a steamer to get out creases in your item or simply iron inside-out on low heat, putting a cloth between the fabric and the iron.
