A jam-making, flower-pressing kind of weekend in the country: the ‘Eugenie’ set dresses those quiet, sun-soft hours in toile and buttercream.
The ‘Eugenie’ corset opens the jar, a toile de Jouy garden unfurling across crisp, structured cloth, its pastoral scenes of trees and figures printed in deep rosewood on soft cream and bound in that same berry-red trim for a finish that reads collected, not costume. Down the front, lace-up styling cinches you in and lets you set the fit yourself, framed by curved fishbone boning that sculpts and supports through the waist. The sweetheart neckline carries a vintage shape that flatters the décolletage, and the contrast piping traces every edge for that considered, hand-finished feel. A back zip slips the whole thing on and off in seconds, while the elasticated straps lift away entirely, taking the corset from sweet strap silhouette to clean strapless in one easy move. A soft poly-cotton lining sits gently against skin, so nothing scratches.
Then the ‘Eugenie’ dress drifts in, buttercream, light as a held breath in a featherlight jacquard that floats and breathes through warm afternoons. Vintage lace meets at the square neckline, tied with a little bow that feels plucked from another century, while fine pleats sculpted into the puff sleeves lift the shoulder line and add dimension. The elasticated tie waist nips you in and loosens at leisure, and a ruffle-trimmed hem adds that final swish of movement with every step. A satin-smooth lining keeps everything opaque and glides against the skin.
Worn as one, the ‘Eugenie’ set is pure storybook-picnic romance, equal parts maiden and modern. Split them up and the corset turns mood-maker, laced over our ‘Moonlight Waltz’ skirt for full fairytale, dropped onto the ‘Abebi’ mini for something shorter and sweeter, or pulled over raw denim for that corset-and-jeans look that always lands; the dress, meanwhile, carries any sunlit day solo.

• Dry cleaning is the best way to extend the life of your item.
• Hand wash in cold water, using a gentle detergent. Gently and slowly swish the garment then rinse with cold water. Remove excess water by rolling the garment in a towel and gently pressing to absorb lingering moisture. Ensure the garment keeps its shape by laying flat or hanging to dry.
• Use a steamer to get out creases in your item or simply iron inside-out on low heat, putting a cloth between the fabric and the iron.
