The 2005 Pride and Prejudice film gave us a forever-blueprint for romantic dressing, and our ‘Bluellette’ dress and corset set is our softest, sunniest tribute to it.
The dress arrives in the softest duck-egg blue, a powdery, water-washed hue that catches the light like morning mist over a meadow. We’ve exclusively designed it in a vintage tonal jacquard, woven with a delicate floral motif that reveals itself as you move, all cradled in a breathable poly-cotton lining that feels beautifully soft against the skin. The neckline is trimmed in ornate ivory guipure lace and tied at the centre with a cream grosgrain bow, a properly romantic detail that nods to heritage dressmaking
Puff sleeves gather through the bust for forgiving ease, finished with elasticated lace cuffs that lend a softly relaxed feel at the wrist. The hem is the moment we keep returning to: double-layered scalloped guipure lace with curved baroque stitching, layered for that heirloom, “she’s had this dress for generations” feeling. Slip in via the back zip, then tie the waist sash to your perfect fit.
The corset is where ‘Bluellette’ goes from beautiful to unforgettable. Crafted in a pearlescent guipure lace over sheer mesh, it has all the ornate beauty of an antique trousseau find, shaped internally with fishbone boning and fastened down the front with steel hook-and-eye closures for ease of dressing. Lace it up at the back through velvety cord eyelets finished with the prettiest pearl-drop pendants, a quietly beautiful detail that swings as you walk and feels almost like a piece of jewellery in its own right.
A genuine wardrobe shape-shifter: take the dress on its own to slower mornings at the farmers’ market and sunny lunches by the coast, then layer in the corset for spring wedding receptions, garden tea parties and golden-hour evenings that ask for a little extra theatre.

• Dry cleaning is the best way to extend the life of your item.
• Hand wash in cold water, using a gentle detergent. Gently and slowly swish the garment then rinse with cold water. Remove excess water by rolling the garment in a towel and gently pressing to absorb lingering moisture. Ensure the garment keeps its shape by laying flat or hanging to dry.
• Use a steamer to get out creases in your item or simply iron inside-out on low heat, putting a cloth between the fabric and the iron.
