How To Measure
Bust
Place measuring tape at center of apex, wrapped relaxed around front and back of bust, for total circumference.
Natural Waist
Place measuring tape at narrowest point of waist, wrapped relaxed around front and back of waist, for total circumference.
Bicep
Place measuring tape 1" below armpit, wrapped relaxed around the muscle, front and back for total circumference.
High Hip
Place measuring tape 4" below natural waist, wrapped relaxed around the hips, front and back for total circumference.
Low Hip
Place measuring tape 8" below natural waist, wrapped relaxed around the hips, front and back for total circumference.
Inseam
Place measuring tape 1" below joint seam. Wrap measuring tape, relaxed around muscle front and back for total circumference.

Red gingham, a fishtail braid, and a clifftop that drops straight into the sea: ‘Cherie Cottage’ is summer at its most uncomplicated.
The top is the showpiece, and it knows it. We pieced the sweetheart neckline with scalloped white eyelet lace, a vintage-pretty contrast that draws the eye up and frames the face. Puff sleeves, finished with more of that eyelet trim, round the shoulder softly and flatter the line. A front zip runs the length of the bodice for genuinely easy dressing, finished with a little bronze charm at the pull, while a tie at the back lets you nip the waist in exactly where you like it. Two scales of gingham, panelled together, give the whole thing depth rather than a flat single check.
The skirt picks up the story below. It gathers full from a fitted waistband stamped with a custom metal logo plate, a quietly luxe finishing touch, then sweeps out long and swishy, a ruffle-trimmed contrast-check seam adding a layered finish. Side-insert pockets are the practical upgrade you’ll reach for on repeat, and a discreet side zip keeps the line clean.
Both pieces come in a warm, sun-faded red-and-white check, the kind that feels like ripe strawberries and a picnic blanket spread out somewhere coastal.
Together, ‘Cherie Cottage’ is pure sun-drenched Riviera romance, a headscarf and red flats away from a postcard. Split them up and the top tucks into denim for a sweet vintage edge, while the skirt twirls off with a plain tee for slower weekend mornings.

• Hand wash in cold water, using a gentle detergent. Gently and slowly swish the garment then rinse with cold water. Remove excess water by rolling the garment in a towel and gently pressing to absorb lingering moisture. Ensure the garment keeps its shape by laying flat or hanging to dry.
• Use a steamer to get out creases in your item or simply iron inside-out on low heat, putting a cloth between the fabric and the iron.
