The waist is where ‘Clarice’ sets her tempo. The silhouette is a true fishtail, and diagonal ruching draws across the midriff to nip the waistline and sculpt the waist-to-hip ratio into something genuinely flattering. Every fold follows the body rather than sitting stiffly on top of it, so the fabric moves with you and lends a luxe, lived-in texture instead of a rigid finish.

Up where it drapes, the front bodice is cut separately to build that soft cowl neckline, letting it pool from the shoulder line into a gentle curve that reads as effortless rather than engineered. It frames the face and gives the whole dress its unhurried, quietly assured mood.

We chose a softly luminous satin in a moonlit ivory that catches the light with a delicate glow, tender and quietly expensive at once. A sheer chiffon shawl layers a soft-focus haze over the top, like moonlight wrapped in thin mist, cool and romantic in equal measure. The satin itself feels wonderfully smooth to the touch, with enough weight to hold the fishtail’s structure cleanly rather than clinging limply, while still tracing the lines of the body.

Around the back, the crossed lace-up tie is a thoughtful touch, adjustable to your own comfort and generously forgiving across the waist.
