The Spring Orchid dress is inspired by Chinoiserie, the 18th-century fascination that once captivated the courts of Versailles. As Yves Saint Laurent once said, “What country is more evocative than China?”
From blue-and-white porcelain emerges tender new willow, no less moving than flowers in full bloom. Each petal, each vein of light, feels as if it has been carefully painted onto a pale celadon shell, as though wandering through mist into Marie Antoinette’s Petit Trianon garden. A dream suspended three hundred years later, made more enchanting by an unmistakable Eastern romance.

Tea-white meets graphite grey in a composition reminiscent of a sealed scroll. Sparse bamboo branches, two or three strokes of ink-plum, the lingering fragrance of calligraphy from the Orchid Pavilion. A fleeting glimpse of beauty that cannot be fully captured.

Crafted from an exquisite Chinese-style jacquard, the bodice is set in a soft tea-white, while the skirt deepens into raven-blue, creating a harmonious dialogue between light and shadow. Ink-grey tones bloom organically across the dress, like brushstrokes spreading on silk. Pale ivory jacquard patterns unfold across the surface, building depth and dimension, evoking a sense of distance and perspective, from near to far.

Designed with a waist-defining, body-contouring silhouette, the dress features gathered detailing along the front bust seams to ensure a closer neckline fit while enhancing the natural shape of the bust for a fuller, more sculpted look. Princess seams run through the bodice with a corsetry-inspired structure, reinforced by four fishbones at the waist to define and secure the waistline beautifully.

The curved waist seam rises gently at the sides and dips at the center, subtly elongating the proportions of the body. Fine shoulder straps extend upward from the bust to frame the collarbones with delicate sensuality, complete with adjustable sliders for comfort and ease of wear.

Fully lined with a soft, skin-friendly interior, the dress feels smooth and comfortable against the body. A metal zip closure at the back is finished with a protective zip guard, ensuring effortless wear without irritation.

The jacquard fabric is finished with a 30D silk plain-weave composite, giving it structure and polish while remaining supple and resistant to creasing.
