‘Cicelia’ takes the warm-toned, sun-drenched florals of a Mediterranean garden lunch and turns them into a dress you can twirl in.
A deep V neckline lengthens the neck and throat, with the front cut in a single unlined layer that lets the faintest hint of skin play peek-a-boo beneath the print, a softly alluring touch that knows exactly when to hold back.
This is where the garden comes into bloom. Across the bodice, oversized three-dimensional flowers gather in a lavish cluster, each petal laser-pressed in varying sizes, then assembled and stitched entirely by hand into lifelike blossoms, so that one breeze sets them trembling and they catch the light like real petals dipped in morning dew.
Now the petals start to fall. An inverted-V seam at the waist draws everything inward, sculpting a flattering 3-to-7 proportion that lengthens the leg and slims the waist in one stroke, while four tiers of skirt fall into the dreamiest full A-line. We didn’t hold back on volume: 4.2 metres of printed fabric layered over three tiers of tulle for 9.8 metres in total, with a fine inner lining keeping everything beautifully covered as the sheer layers float and shift around you.
And here the petals catch the light. A knee-level seam adds a panelled break that quietly stretches the legs longer, finished with a generous ruffle hem that crosses and sways with every step. Tulle tucked beneath the ruffle gives it body and lift, so movement looks gossamer-light and a little ethereal, like petals scattering on the wind.
Spun from imported korganza, the base is feather-light and soft with a whisper of natural sheen and the subtlest dry-touch finish across the surface. Printed, it glows in vivid, sunlit colour: maple-red blooms in a warm, coral-flushed hue reminiscent of late-summer petals opening in full sun, twining and unfurling across the skirt in a richly detailed, painterly scene.
• Dry cleaning is the best way to extend the life of your item.
• Hand wash in cold water, using a gentle detergent. Gently and slowly swish the garment then rinse with cold water. Remove excess water by rolling the garment in a towel and gently pressing to absorb lingering moisture. Ensure the garment keeps its shape by laying flat or hanging to dry.
• Use a steamer to get out creases in your item or simply iron inside-out on low heat, putting a cloth between the fabric and the iron.
