‘Amaira’ is for the woman who thinks the golden-hour photo should be of the dress, not the sunset.
Cut entirely on the bias, ‘Amaira’ falls with a fluid, body-tracing ease that skims rather than grips, every line settling cleanly without a single excess fold to break the silhouette. That diagonal cut is the quiet luxury here: it asks for far more fabric than a standard layout, but in return the cloth catches the light differently with every turn, so the shine never tips into flashy and instead plays across the body in soft, shifting glimmers.
The fabric earns that glow honestly. Woven from organic cotton, lustrous viscose and a fine metallic thread coloured straight into the yarn, it reads smooth and liquid to the touch, breathable and barely-there light against the skin. The viscose keeps the print crisp and vivid, the organic cotton lends a clean natural lustre with no harsh chemistry behind it, and the woven-in metal catches the sun rather than sitting on top of it the way pressed-foil fabrics do, which is also why the colour holds far longer wash after wash.
The print is the reason ‘Amaira’ stops a room: a freshly chosen floral spaced with real intention, blooms set so they barely overlap and each one gets to sit at its best, with stems and tendrils reaching off in different directions to keep the whole thing alive and growing. It all rests on a pale gold ground the colour of late afternoon sun on still water, lit with lilac, warm gold and the softest blush.
For all that movement, it’s the vintage French cowl halter that holds the eye. Hand-stitched into position at the front, the draped neckline holds its soft, spilling fold naturally instead of collapsing, framing the décolletage with an old-world grace. It ties high at the neck and leaves the back open, long ribbon ties trailing loose as you walk so the line of the spine and shoulders is left bare and elegant.
A seam at the waist quietly splits the bodice from the skirt, lengthening the body and lifting the overall sense of quality, while the fishtail unfurls from just above the knee in a small, graceful sway that traces the lower curve. It’s fully lined, so all of that fluidity stays comfortable against the skin.
• Dry cleaning is the best way to extend the life of your item.
• Hand wash in cold water, using a gentle detergent. Gently and slowly swish the garment then rinse with cold water. Remove excess water by rolling the garment in a towel and gently pressing to absorb lingering moisture. Ensure the garment keeps its shape by laying flat or hanging to dry.
• Use a steamer to get out creases in your item or simply iron inside-out on low heat, putting a cloth between the fabric and the iron.
