In 1944, a golden-haired Judy Garland stepped onto screen in Meet Me in St. Louis and looked like she had wandered straight out of a peach blossom dream. The film’s vivid, jewel-bright palette and opulent scenes left an impression that never quite faded and ‘Irya’ is our love letter to that moment.
We’ve spent a long time getting this one right. The corset’s proportions were studied and refined over months, the final hem length and silhouette calibrated precisely to allow natural movement at the waist without sacrificing an ounce of that cinched, sculpted drama. Where the original whalebone corsetry of the 1940s was beautiful but unforgiving, ‘Irya’ corset is constructed with modern resin boning for a foundation that shapes with intention and wears with genuine comfort. Antique bronze eyelets lace up with a rose-pink satin ribbon that echoes the gown’s palette, adjustable, elegant, and deeply considered. The weighty rose-gold drop charm and substantial satin ties complete the corset with a richness you can feel.
The ‘Irya’ dress herself is nothing short of spectacular. She features a magnificent Rococo-inspired jacquard in a classical medallion pattern created by our in-house artisan, the kind of fabric that catches sunlight and returns it as something closer to gilded relief. High-density cotton lace panels are spliced with pierced satin woven ribbon, and the gathered, layered hem carries that same spirit of lavish 18th-century excess that makes you want to slow down and look closer. A waist-nipping, A-line silhouette makes ‘Irya’ a quiet dream for pear-shaped figures, skimming and flattering with the kind of ease that feels almost effortless.
At the chest, a handcrafted bow layered with hand-applied florals sets the tone for the level of detail found throughout. The straps are pieced from three distinct lace varieties, pleated and pressed into something genuinely exquisite, with just enough stretch to wear all evening without a single pinch. A discreet transparent anti-slip strap between the back straps keeps everything in place beautifully. Inside, a blush pink lining sits softly against the skin, and a back zip makes slipping into her as graceful as the dress itself deserves.
The ‘Irya’ set was made for the girl who has always secretly believed she was born in the wrong era. You know who you are.
Hand wash with warm water is best, just a heads up, there might be slight color fading on the first rinse, which is totally normal. Avoid mixing colors and dry in the shade to keep it perfect for seasons to come.

• Dry cleaning is the best way to extend the life of your item.
• Hand wash in cold water, using a gentle detergent. Gently and slowly swish the garment then rinse with cold water. Remove excess water by rolling the garment in a towel and gently pressing to absorb lingering moisture. Ensure the garment keeps its shape by laying flat or hanging to dry.
• Use a steamer to get out creases in your item or simply iron inside-out on low heat, putting a cloth between the fabric and the iron.
