How To Measure
Bust
Place measuring tape at center of apex, wrapped relaxed around front and back of bust, for total circumference.
Natural Waist
Place measuring tape at narrowest point of waist, wrapped relaxed around front and back of waist, for total circumference.
Bicep
Place measuring tape 1" below armpit, wrapped relaxed around the muscle, front and back for total circumference.
High Hip
Place measuring tape 4" below natural waist, wrapped relaxed around the hips, front and back for total circumference.
Low Hip
Place measuring tape 8" below natural waist, wrapped relaxed around the hips, front and back for total circumference.
Inseam
Place measuring tape 1" below joint seam. Wrap measuring tape, relaxed around muscle front and back for total circumference.

‘Purple Ink Zhilan’ takes its name from the Chinese orchid and wears it like watercolour, with soft lilac bleeding into clouded white the way ink loosens in water.
We worked the whole dress in airy chiffon, cut on the bias so it pours rather than hangs, the kind of fluid line that skims and flatters across almost any frame. The colour does the real talking: bruised lilac dissolving into clouded white, never quite settling into one shade.
‘Purple Ink Zhilan’ saves its drama for the throat: a fine 0.8cm strap draws the eye up the neck and along the shoulders, then gives way to double-layered ruffles, full and petal-soft without tipping into fuss, spilling front to back and curving round to either side like a stream winding through a garden.
Every frill edge is finished with a hand-rolled 0.3cm hem, the sort of detail that quietly tells you a real artisan spent time here. Teardrop cut-outs at the front and back lend a whisper of skin, while sheer matte buttons at the back collar melt into the watercolour print for a softly veiled finish.
There’s no zip, so it slips on and off easily and keeps the bias line clean and unbroken.
• Dry cleaning is the best way to extend the life of your item.
• Hand wash in cold water, using a gentle detergent. Gently and slowly swish the garment then rinse with cold water. Remove excess water by rolling the garment in a towel and gently pressing to absorb lingering moisture. Ensure the garment keeps its shape by laying flat or hanging to dry.
• Use a steamer to get out creases in your item or simply iron inside-out on low heat, putting a cloth between the fabric and the iron.
