- Keep the tape level, not too tight or too loose.
- Measure over bare skin, not clothing.
How To Measure
Bust
Place measuring tape at center of apex, wrapped relaxed around front and back of bust, for total circumference.
Natural Waist
Place measuring tape at narrowest point of waist, wrapped relaxed around front and back of waist, for total circumference.
Bicep
Place measuring tape 1" below armpit, wrapped relaxed around the muscle, front and back for total circumference.
High Hip
Place measuring tape 4" below natural waist, wrapped relaxed around the hips, front and back for total circumference.
Low Hip
Place measuring tape 8" below natural waist, wrapped relaxed around the hips, front and back for total circumference.
Inseam
Place measuring tape 1" below joint seam. Wrap measuring tape, relaxed around muscle front and back for total circumference.

‘Elbertha’ is our Regency reverie made wearable, an empire-waisted maxi cut from delicate blue-and-white pinstripe cotton that drifts like something out of a Bridgerton garden scene.
The bodice opens with a square neckline framed in a double layer of ivory lace ruffles, threaded with the softest pale-blue ribbon and finished at centre with a tiny handmade ribbon rosette, the kind of detail you only notice up close, and then can’t stop noticing. Puff sleeves layer striped cotton with sheer floral lace and tie at the cap with petite bows, adding pretty depth at the shoulder.
The high empire waist is traced with scalloped lace and ribbon-threaded trim, placed to elongate the silhouette and skim the midsection beautifully. From there, fine pleats fall into a softly flared umbrella skirt that sweeps to the floor in fluid columns of pinstripe.
Don’t miss the hem: scalloped lace cutouts curve around the skirt in soft wave-like loops, opening onto floral lace beneath and finished with delicate ruffled borders, before closing with a wide band of ivory lace at the very edge. It’s the kind of vintage handwork that turns a long walk through the garden into something cinematic.
Fabric-wise, we’ve kept it considered: an exclusively designed jacquard-striped cotton blend (70% cotton, 30% viscose) that breathes beautifully against the skin, with a whisper-smooth satin lining underneath for that just-glided-in feeling. A self-tie sash at the back lets you cinch the waist to your liking, while gentle elastication keeps the pull-on fit forgiving and easy.

• Dry cleaning is the best way to extend the life of your item.
• Hand wash in cold water, using a gentle detergent. Gently and slowly swish the garment then rinse with cold water. Remove excess water by rolling the garment in a towel and gently pressing to absorb lingering moisture. Ensure the garment keeps its shape by laying flat or hanging to dry.
• Use a steamer to get out creases in your item or simply iron inside-out on low heat, putting a cloth between the fabric and the iron.
